The UEFA Champions League will finally reach its conclusion on Saturday, as defending champions Real Madrid face Premier League giants Liverpool at the Olympic Stadium in Kyiv.

Real have won three of the last four finals and have tons of experience at the highest level, whereas Liverpool last won the tournament in 2005. Both teams favour attacking football, and fans should be in for an incredible contest.

According to WhoScored.com, Los Blancos enter the final without any major injuries or suspensions to worry about.

While manager Zinedine Zidane has a full squad to choose from, colleague Jurgen Klopp will have some shuffling to do. Joel Matip, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Joe Gomez are certain to miss out through injury, and Emre Can and James Milner are doubts. The latter is expected to start, however.
Having not featured for Liverpool since sustaining a back injury in mid-March, Emre Can’s return to training means the midfielder is in contention for a place in the matchday squad.

“He’s a nice option and that’s why he is with us,” the manager explained to Liverpoolfc.com on board the flight to Kiev, while also confirming that James Milner is fully fit again.

As injuries mounted for the Reds in the final weeks of the season and they balanced their European adventure with Premier League commitments, Klopp was unable to make significant changes to his team.

But with Adam Lallana another notable returnee with several weeks of training under his belt, the boss expects to name the strongest substitutes’ bench for ‘weeks or months’.

“We are as fresh as we can be after this two weeks; fitness will not be an issue,” the German told reporters at his pre-match press conference inside the NSC Olimpiyskiy Stadium.

It is a similar story for Real coach Zinedine Zidane.

The ankle injury suffered by Cristiano Ronaldo against FC Barcelona earlier this month has fully cleared, leaving the Frenchman with the luxury of a selection headache.

“Cristiano is good, if he’s not at 150 per cent, he’s at 140 per cent and that’s not bad! Tomorrow it’s the last game of the season – he lives to play games like this,” said Zidane at his own media briefing on Friday.

On the difficulty of selecting a XI, he continued: “I have to take decisions. All our players are good players and there’ll be a lot left out and on the bench.

“We think as a team. A player can be disappointed, but when the game starts, he’s with the team and we need to continue to do that. We’re a squad, a group.”The worlds eyes will be locked on Kiev Saturday as Real Madrid and Liverpool face off in the UEFA Champions League Final. Yes I said the world, as more people will watch this match than the Super Bowl, and there is a good chance this will be the most-watched sporting event of all-time.

Real Madrid comes into this match as favorites trying to win its third straight Champions League Final, and fourth in the last five years. I compare them to the dominant 90s Chicago Bulls teams. And if Real are the Bulls, then Cristiano Ronaldo — who has been unstoppable — is their Michael Jordan.

Liverpool may not have Ronaldo but they do have arguably the most dangerous front three in world right now. Sadio Mane (10), Roberto Firmino (17) and Mohamed Salah (14) have contributed an insane 41 goals between them in this year’s Champions League. Led by Jurgen Klopp’s attacking style (think Phoenix Suns 7 seconds or less), Liverpool’s front three always gives them a chance.Michael Cox: Real Madrid 3-2 Liverpool

Liverpool's pressing means they will start both halves strongly and score during periods of dominance, but Real will assert their authority through possession play and win it late.

Nick Ames: Real Madrid 2-1 Liverpool

Liverpool will come roaring out of the blocks and then have to ride their luck, but Real's era of dominance will come to an end.

Nick Miller: Real Madrid 3-1 Liverpool

Maybe I'm being romantic or am bored with Real winning. Liverpool can be stopped when a team changes its game plan, but Madrid won't do that, and I can see an early Liverpool onslaught.

Tony Evans: Real Madrid 3-1 Liverpool

The dominant Champions League side of the past four years have too much know-how for a Liverpool team that is still developing.

Adam Hurrey: Real Madrid 2-1 Liverpool

It feels like ages since Liverpool played, and while experience isn't everything, if you had to pick a team to deliver in a final, it's Madrid. Mohamed Salah to score, but Real prevail.

Richard Jolly: Real Madrid 3-1 Liverpool

Real merit the billing as favourites, but their luck might finally run out. Liverpool can blow anyone away in devastating bursts.

Michael Yokhin: Real Madrid 3-4 Liverpool

It looks like Mohamed Salah's year, and a Liverpool win in a high-scoring final would be refreshing because Madrid -- good as they are -- don't really deserve three straight wins.

ESPN Deportes: Real Madrid 1-2 Liverpool

There are strong arguments for why Real Madrid should be considered favourites, but Mohamed Salah will be the main factor in bringing the trophy to Anfield.

ESPN Brazil: Real Madrid 3-2 Liverpool

It is the biggest game of the Liverpool players' lives, while Madrid was not the better team in the semifinal vs. Bayern Munich. Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino will be the heroes.
